  • 4 Tablespoons of Honey

  • Flaked Sea Salt

To start our asparagus wrapped phyllo dough appetizer recipe off, you'll want to gather your ingredients. You'll need some fresh asparagus spears, some phyllo dough, and some melted butter. You can also add some parmesan cheese or herbs if you're feeling fancy.


Next, take a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter. Add a few asparagus spears on top, and then roll the dough up into a little bundle. Repeat this process until you've used up all your ingredients.


Bake your asparagus and phyllo dough appetizers in the oven for around 15 minutes, or until they're golden brown and crispy. Serve them up on a platter with a side of dipping sauce, and watch as your guests gobble them up in no time!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a pot of boiling water blanch asparagus for about 3 mins and shock in cold water.

  3. Take butter and honey and whip together.

  4. Cut brie cheese into pieces as seen in video.

  5. Crack egg in dish and whisk it for egg wash.

  6. Unroll thawed phyllo dough sheets. Take three sheets and brush honey butter between each sheet and stack.

  7. Cut prepared phyllo dough into strips as seen in video.

  8. Take one to two asparagus spears, lay across phyllo dough strip and place a piece of the brie cheese on top. Either roll the dough around the spears as seen in video or wrap the dough up the spear, your choice.

  9. Place wrapped spears on baking sheet, brush on egg wash, sprinkle with flaked sea salt.

  10. Bake in oven for about 10 mins or until golden brown.

  11. Serve warm.
